SOILSISTAR Sandra, founder and CEO of soilsistarship GoGrowWithLove C.I.C has committed to over a decade of experience in designing, developing and delivering horticultural projects, programmes and courses to children, women, adults and families in the Uk and abroad. About the programme Women Leading With The Land is a horticulture programme, designed to invite Women of African & Caribbean heritage to learn the way of the land and develop skills in: - Land care - Food growing - Enterprise This 6 week land programme is an introduction to Practical Horticultural Skills. You will learn to: - Explore the different types of soil and how to prepare the land for cultivation - Test your soil pH and identify nutrients that support healthy plant growth - Explore different crop families, companion planting and crop rotation - Direct sow, sow seeds in trays indoors and create a planting schedule - Explore local weeds and identify their benefits - Connect with the natural environment and enterprise We welcome you to journey with us at GoGrowWithLove to support the growth of sustainable, holistic and regenerative land skills for indigenous women of African & Caribbean heritage. GoGrowWithLove C.I.C is a community interest company.
