OPEN DAY at Women Leading With Land Project

This event is for women only. Registration is required to help us manage numbers. We will be hosting two separate sessions on Sat 26th February, please book one:

Session One: 11-12.30pm

Session Two: 1.30-3pm

What to expect

To take in the essence of nature with a tour of our holistic site. You will meet the head gardener and project coordinator, who will take on a journey of the birth & growth of the project and share with you some growing tips of the trade.

A Seed Story

In the morning taster session you will have the opportunity to take part in with in seed sowing activities, explore seed saving techniques and create your own seed sowing & crop plan, to take away with you.

A Soil Story

In the afternoon taster session you will get to connect with the land and the soil. You will take part in testing the soil PH and get familiar with the different crop families, flowers and fruits grown on the the site.

Our Story of Soil Stewardship (Soil SiStars)

We will share with you our intention in supporting the sustainability of soil stewardship and indigenous land led and food enterprise for women. You will have the opportunity to explore and sign up to upcoming seasonal land programmes, family days and holistic wellbeing workshops.
